What is LOVE?<\/p>\n
What does LOVE mean specifically?<\/p>\n
The Lord God is LOVE. He does everything in LOVE regarding mankind, whether it be blessing or judgment. For He blesses us with good things, but chastises us for disobedience, all out of LOVE.<\/p>\n
He LOVES mankind that He desires all to come back unto him and be saved.<\/p>\n
Per his word, of faith, hope, and LOVE, \u201cthe greatest of these is LOVE\u201d.<\/p>\n
God\u2019s LOVE, known as \u201dAgape\u201d LOVE is the focus and theme of his holy, written word, the Bible. <\/p>\n
LOVE defines Gods nature.. He does not only LOVE but He \u201cIS\u201d LOVE.<\/p>\n
All such is reflected in these two commandments, by our Savior, as written:<\/p>\n
37 Jesus said to him, \u201c\u2018You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.\u2019
\n38 This is the first and great commandment.
\n39 And the second is like it: \u2018You shall love your neighbor as yourself.\u2019 <\/p>\n
40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.\u201d<\/p>\n
Matthew 22:37-40 (NKJV)<\/p>\n
This was written pertaining to the Fruits of the Spirit:<\/p>\n
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
\n23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
\n24 And those who are Christ\u2019s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
\n25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
\n26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.<\/p>\n
Galatians 5:16-26<\/p>\n
These things sum up how we should govern our behavior and actions before the Lord God, but also men, as an example of Christ within us!<\/p>\n
