What does LONGSUFFERING mean specifically?<\/p>\n
LONGSUFFERING literally means \u201clong of anger\u201d or \u201cslow to wrath.\u201d Such applies to the Lord God throughout His written word, and is typically associated with a very great kindness and mercy on His part towards man. <\/p>\n
LONGSUFFERING also means being \u201clong of mind or soul\u201d as pertains to the seat of our human emotions. God\u2019s LONGSUFFERING pertains to His bearing long with sinners, with great patience in executing judgment on those who sin.<\/p>\n
This was written pertaining to the Fruits of the Spirit:<\/p>\n
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
