For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, \u201cYet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.\u201d 27 Now this, \u201cYet once more,\u201d indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.<\/p>\n<p>28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.<\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 12:25-28<\/p>\n<p>But do not forget these words, as explicitly decreed to be fulfilled soon and quickly, as additionally written:<\/p>\n<p>29 For our God is a consuming fire.<\/p>\n<p>Hebrews 12:29<\/p>\n<p>And these things, also as prophesied, will even more greatly be fulfilled \u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026 as more so written:<\/p>\n<p>15 For behold, the LORD will come with fire<br \/>\nAnd with His chariots, like a whirlwind,<br \/>\nTo render His anger with fury,<br \/>\nAnd His rebuke with flames of fire.<br \/>\n16 For by fire and by His sword<br \/>\nThe LORD will judge all flesh;<br \/>\nAnd the slain of the LORD shall be many.<\/p>\n<p>Isaiah 66:15-16<\/p>\n<p>As even more so written:<\/p>\n<p>7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.<\/p>\n<p>10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat;
