Previously by the hands of the Babylonian Empire, but afterwards by the ancient Roman Empire, as written:<\/p>\n<p>25 \u201dKnow therefore and understand,<br \/>\nThat from the going forth of the command<br \/>\nTo restore and build Jerusalem<br \/>\nUntil Messiah the Prince,<br \/>\nThere shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;<br \/>\nThe street shall be built again, and the wall,<br \/>\nEven in troublesome times.<br \/>\n26 \u201dAnd after the sixty-two weeks<br \/>\nMessiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;<br \/>\nAnd the people of the prince who is to come<br \/>\nShall destroy the city and the sanctuary.<br \/>\nThe end of it shall be with a flood,<br \/>\nAnd till the end of the war desolations are determined.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel 9:25-26 <\/p>\n<p>And the Lord will soon say unto the whole House of Israel, as further written:<\/p>\n<p>66 Thus says the LORD:<br \/>\n\u201cHeaven is My throne,<br \/>\nAnd earth is My footstool.<br \/>\nWhere is the house that you will build Me?<br \/>\nAnd where is the place of My rest?<\/p>\n<p>Isaiah 66:1 <\/p>\n<p>God will also say, as additionally written:<\/p>\n<p>2 \u201dThus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: \u2018This people says, \u201cThe time has not come, the time that the LORD\u2019s house should be built.\u201d \u2018 \u201c<br \/>\n3 Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 \u201dIs it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?\u201d 5 Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: \u201dConsider your ways!<br \/>\n6 \u201dYou have sown much, and bring in little;<br \/>\nYou eat, but do not have enough;<br \/>\nYou drink, but you are not filled with drink;<br \/>\nYou clothe yourselves, but no one is warm;<br \/>\nAnd he who earns wages,<br \/>\nEarns wages to put into a bag with holes.\u201d<br \/>\n7 Thus says the LORD of hosts: \u201cConsider your ways! 8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,\u201d says the LORD. <\/p>\n<p>Haggai 1:2-8 <\/p>\n<p>And if \u201cGreater Israel\u201d does not obey, the immediate consequences are these things, says the Lord, as more so written:<\/p>\n<p>9 \u201dYou looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?\u201d says the LORD of hosts. \u201cBecause of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house. 10 Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. 11 For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Haggai 1:9-11 <\/p>\n<p>Such will further happen, as even more so written:<\/p>\n<p>6 \u201dFor thus says the LORD of hosts: \u2019Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,\u2019 says the LORD of hosts. <\/p>\n<p>Haggai 2:6-7 <\/p>\n<p>And more, as written:<\/p>\n<p>17 I struck you with blight and mildew and hail in all the labors of your hands; yet you did not turn to Me,\u2019 says the LORD. <\/p>\n<p>Haggai 2:17 <\/p>\n<p>Even more, as written:<\/p>\n<p>9 \u201dI blasted you with blight and mildew.<br \/>\nWhen your gardens increased,<br \/>\nYour vineyards,<br \/>\nYour fig trees,<br \/>\nAnd your olive trees,<br \/>\nThe locust devoured them;<br \/>\nYet you have not returned to Me,\u201d<br \/>\nSays the LORD.<\/p>\n<p>Amos 4:9 <\/p>\n<p>And this to all the surrounding nations, as additionally written:<\/p>\n<p>20 And again the word of the LORD came to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying, 21 \u201dSpeak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying:<br \/>\n\u2018I will shake heaven and earth.<br \/>\n22 I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms;<br \/>\nI will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms.<br \/>\nI will overthrow the chariots<br \/>\nAnd those who ride in them;<br \/>\nThe horses and their riders shall come down,<br \/>\nEvery one by the sword of his brother.<\/p>\n<p>Haggai 2:20-22 <\/p>\n<p>And indeed, when the Almighty God comes to His Temple (upon what is known modernistically as the \u201cTemple Mount\u201d), what else will his reaction be, as moreover written:<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, the Lord will declare and do these things:<\/p>\n<p>8 \u201dTherefore wait for Me,\u201d says the LORD,<br \/>\n\u201cUntil the day I rise up for plunder;<br \/>\nMy determination is to gather the nations<br \/>\nTo My assembly of kingdoms,<br \/>\nTo pour on them My indignation,<br \/>\nAll My fierce anger;<br \/>\nAll the earth shall be devoured<br \/>\nWith the fire of My jealousy.<\/p>\n<p>Zephaniah 3:8 <\/p>\n<p>Secondly, the Lord will declare and do these things thereafter:<\/p>\n<p>30 \u201dTherefore prophesy against them all these words, and say to them:<br \/>\n\u2018The LORD will roar from on high,<br \/>\nAnd utter His voice from His holy habitation;<br \/>\nHe will roar mightily against His fold.<br \/>\nHe will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes,<br \/>\nAgainst all the inhabitants of the earth.<br \/>\n31 A noise will come to the ends of the earth\u2014<br \/>\nFor the LORD has a controversy with the nations;<br \/>\nHe will plead His case with all flesh.<br \/>\nHe will give those who are wicked to the sword,\u2019 says the LORD.\u201d<br \/>\n32 Thus says the LORD of hosts:<br \/>\n\u201cBehold, disaster shall go forth<br \/>\nFrom nation to nation,<br \/>\nAnd a great whirlwind shall be raised up<br \/>\nFrom the farthest parts of the earth.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremiah 25:30-32 <\/p>\n<p>Thirdly, thereafter, even afterwards, the Lord will do such, as likewise written:<\/p>\n<p>1 The words of Amos, who was among the sheepbreeders of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.<br \/>\n2 And he said:<br \/>\n\u201cThe LORD roars from Zion,<br \/>\nAnd utters His voice from Jerusalem;<br \/>\nThe pastures of the shepherds mourn,<br \/>\nAnd the top of Carmel withers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amos 1:1-2 <\/p>\n<p>For the day of the Lord is coming, burning like an oven, just as written (but in quite an underexaggerated fashion):<\/p>\n<p>4 \u201dFor behold, the day is coming,<br \/>\nBurning like an oven,<br \/>\nAnd all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.<br \/>\nAnd the day which is coming shall burn them up,\u201d<br \/>\nSays the LORD of hosts,<br \/>\n\u201cThat will leave them neither root nor branch.<\/p>\n<p>Malachi 4:1 <\/p>\n<p>Therefore, as in the days of the flood of Noah, so shall it be as the days of the flood also, but this time not of WATER, but of FIRE \u2026 because indeed the Lord shall send FIRE upon the Earth, as greatly written: * (5) <\/p>\n<p>49 \u201dI came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!<\/p>\n<p>Luke 12:49 * (6)<\/p>\n<p>As additionally written:<\/p>\n<p>15 For behold, the LORD will come with fire<br \/>\nAnd with His chariots, like a whirlwind,<br \/>\nTo render His anger with fury,<br \/>\nAnd His rebuke with flames of fire.<br \/>\n16 For by fire and by His sword<br \/>\nThe LORD will judge all flesh;<br \/>\nAnd the slain of coming,\u201d<br \/>\nSays the LORD of hosts.<\/p>\n<p>Malachi 3:1 <\/p>\n<p>Who shall this one be, this great \u201cMan of God?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>As specifically written:<\/p>\n<p>4 \u201cRemember the Law of Moses, My servant,<br \/>\nWhich I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel,<br \/>\nWith the statutes and judgments.<br \/>\n5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet<br \/>\nBefore the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.<br \/>\n6 And he will turn<br \/>\nThe hearts of the fathers to the children,<br \/>\nAnd the hearts of the children to their fathers,<br \/>\nLest I come and strike the earth with a curse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Malachi 4:4-6 <\/p>\n<p>And indeed, it already has been determined that the Lord will greatly strike the Earth with a curse, as more so written:<\/p>\n<p>5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,<br \/>\nBecause they have transgressed the laws,<br \/>\nChanged the ordinance,<br \/>\nBroken the everlasting covenant.<br \/>\n6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,<br \/>\nAnd those who dwell in it are desolate.<br \/>\nTherefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,<br \/>\nAnd few men are left.<\/p>\n<p>Isaiah 24:5-6 <\/p>\n<p>As even more so written:<\/p>\n<p>22 Now therefore, do not be mockers,<br \/>\nLest your bonds be made strong;<br \/>\nFor I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts,<br \/>\nA destruction determined even upon the whole earth.<\/p>\n<p>Isaiah 28:22 <\/p>\n<p>As lastly written:<\/p>\n<p>7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.<\/p>\n<p>Galatians 6:7-8 <\/p>\n<p>For indeed, these things
