Alas!\u2019<br \/>\nThey shall call the farmer to mourning,<br \/>\nAnd skillful lamenters to wailing.<\/p>\n<p>17 In all vineyards there shall be wailing,<br \/>\nFor I will pass through you,\u201d<br \/>\nSays the LORD.<\/p>\n<p>18 Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD!<br \/>\nFor what good is the day of the LORD to you?<br \/>\nIt will be darkness, and not light.<br \/>\n19 It will be as though a man fled from a lion,<br \/>\nAnd a bear met him!<br \/>\nOr as though he went into the house,<br \/>\nLeaned his hand on the wall,<br \/>\nAnd a serpent bit him!<br \/>\n20 Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light?<br \/>\nIs it not very dark, with no brightness in it?<\/p>\n<p>Amos 5:16-20<\/p>\n<p>Yet there is an alternative, says the Lord:<\/p>\n<p>As also written:<\/p>\n<p>14 Seek good and not evil,<br \/>\nThat you may live;<br \/>\nSo the LORD God of hosts will be with you,<br \/>\nAs you have spoken.<br \/>\n15 Hate evil, love good;<br \/>\nEstablish justice in the gate.<br \/>\nIt may be that the LORD God of hosts<br \/>\nWill be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.<\/p>\n<p>Amos 5:14-15<\/p>\n<p>Seek the Goodness and grace of God by striving to live a sinless life through ceasing sin and repentance unto God and the Lord your God will grant such, as written:<\/p>\n<p>4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,<br \/>\nI will fear no evil;<br \/>\nFor You are with me;<br \/>\nYour rod and Your staff, they comfort me.<\/p>\n<p>Psalm 23:4<\/p>\n<p>Do so, and such will come to pass, as further written:<\/p>\n<p>6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me<br \/>\nAll the days of my life;<br \/>\nAnd I will dwell in the house of the LORD<br \/>\nForever.<\/p>\n<p>Psalm 23:6<\/p>\n<p>And do such even BEFORE the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord comes upon the whole Earth like a thief in the night \u2026. and this will come to pass for those who very truly and sincerely believe in God through absolute faith in Christ Jesus &#8211; the Lord and Savior of the whole Earth, as written:<\/p>\n<p>13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.<\/p>\n<p>1 Thessalonians 4:13-18<\/p>\n<p>As also written:<\/p>\n<p>Our Final Victory<\/p>\n<p>50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed\u2014 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
