The works of your hands, O children of God, have been suspect before the Lord.
In fact, many of these works of your hands do you worship, and before God you are puffed up by all such things. * (1)
If you were puffed up because of the works of God which I commanded you to do, such can be tolerated … that is, IF your pride is superseded by your Godly pride and the true honoring of the Lord.
However, since your pride is humanistic, it certainly supersedes your honoring, loving, and obedience unto the Lord your God!

Your works have come up before God, the God of Jacob.
While there have been good works which you have performed …

I have measured your works and resolved that most are wanting according to the Lord’s determinations, especially those I commanded you to do …
