What Manner of Persons Ought You to Be in Holy Conduct and Godliness?
Thusly says God the Almighty to My inheritance of the fullness of the Earth:
I ask you, O humanity, this question, as written:
“What manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness?”
2 Peter 3:11
For the “Day of the Lord” – the “Great and Terrible Day of the Lord” shall come soonly, speedily, and quickly, as a snare upon the whole of the Earth! * (1)
For this, as clearly written, describes what shall happen to the whole Earth:
For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2 Peter 3:5-7
And this, also as written:
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

Therefore, the Lord also asks this question to mankind:
What is the alternative?
This, as greatly written, is the ONLY alternative:
… that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
Romans 10:9-13
For I, the Lord, presents humanity with this awesomely great promise, as additionally written:
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
