Likewise, as in Noah’s Days, Judgment Shall Come Just as in the Days of Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah …
The Lord God unto humanity and the whole Earth:
Just as in the days of Noah, because of the abhorrent abominations committed by mankind, with incredible wickedness and evil spreading throughout the world, * (1) so is it also just as in the days of Lot * (2) [the nephew of Abraham * (3)], who was a judge at the gates of Sodom. * (4)
As the world today is worse than in the days of Noah before the “Great Flood”, so is it also worse than in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah immediately before they were destroyed.
For God rained fire and brimstone, in Godly wrath, * (5) upon the cities of the plain of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim … though Bela (Zoar) was spared for Lot’s sake.
Therefore, hear the Word of the Lord, O mankind and the Earth:
As these destructions once came upon the world, so shall such come again, says the Lord!
