The “Great and Terrible Day of the Lord” will Come when the Times of the Gentiles are Fulfilled …
Thus says the Lord to mankind:
The day of the Lord shall come quickly and unexpectedly.
This, as written, reveals more:
“For the day is near,
Even the day of the Lord is near;
It will be a day of clouds, the time of the Gentiles.”
Ezekiel 30:3
And this, as further written, pertains to the time of the Gentiles:
20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Luke 21:20-24
As written:
“For it is the day of the LORD’s vengeance,
The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.
Its streams shall be turned into pitch,
And its dust into brimstone;
Its land shall become burning pitch.
It shall not be quenched night or day;
Its smoke shall ascend forever.
From generation to generation it shall lie waste;
No one shall pass through it forever and ever.”
Isaiah 34:8-10
For this, as written, shall be re-declared immediately prior to the “Great and Terrible Day of the Lord” coming … * (1)
… so that the prophecy of the Prophet Isaiah can be fulfilled in completion, as partially declared by the Messiah subsequently: * (2)
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:1-3
Put a great emphasis on these particular words of Isaiah’s:
“To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God.”
Isaiah 63:4
For the Almighty shall declare this unto the whole Earth, as written:
“For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come.”
Isaiah 63:4
Therefore, hear the Word of the Lord, O mankind …
… for these things will soon be re-declared, and thereafter greatly come to pass in ways that will be stunning, astounding, and shocking. * (3)
And indeed, they are about to begin to come to pass, in great and awesome MYSTERY …
… for the time of the Gentiles having near-and-total dominion over the Earth is nearly over! * (4)
