The “Great and Terrible Day of the Lord” Shall Beget the “Year of Recompense” and the “Day of Vengeance” …
Thus says the Lord God unto mankind and the Earth:
The “Great and Terrible Day of the Lord” * (1) shall precipitate the greatest calamity, disaster, and warfare upon the earth in its history, bar none! * (2)
For such is the “Great Day of Vengeance of our God” and the “Year of Recompense” for the sins, iniquities, abominations, blasphemies, and rejections by humanity upon the Earth …
… but not just for the modernistic sins of man, but also for mankind’s sins during the times of old and throughout the days of ancient times.
As written:
“To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn”
Isaiah 61:2
As also written:
“For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come.”
Isaiah 63:4
As further written:
“For it is the day of the Lord’s vengeance,
The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.”
Isaiah 34:8
And indeed, the Lord declares these words as clearly and concisely written:
“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;
Their foot shall slip in due time;
For the day of their calamity is at hand,
And the things to come hasten upon them.
For the LORD will judge His people
And have compassion on His servants,
When He sees that their power is gone,
And there is no one remaining, bond or free.”
Deuteronomy 32:35-36
And these words, also as written:
“Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. And again, ‘The LORD will judge His people.’ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
